Choose to attend either:
Tuesday, May 10th: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM PST at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles – Los Angeles, CA
Wednesday, May 11th: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM PST at Kehillat Israel Reconstructionist Synagogue – Palisades, CA
This session is open to all synagogue professionals in the Jewish programming field who wish to learn more about Jewish youth philanthropy. By exploring the Jewish youth philanthropy field through interactive activities, attendees will leave the session with a deeper understanding of the field and how the various ways they can get involved with it.
Honeycomb will also walk attendees through its newest program, LAunchpad: The Los Angeles Synagogue Incubator for Youth Philanthropy in order for them to understand how they can be a part of this exciting initiative. LAunchpad is an initiative by Honeycomb which will launch high quality Jewish youth philanthropy programs in Los Angeles area synagogues. Accepted synagogues will receive $17,500 in order to fund the operational costs of running the Jewish youth philanthropy program. In addition, each synagogue will receive up to $2,000 as a fundraising match incentive to go towards the grantmaking pool that the participants are responsible for allocating.
Please feel free to contact Honeycomb’s Program Director, Danielle Segal, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
LAunchpad: The Los Angeles Synagogue Incubator for Youth Philanthropy, an initiative by Honeycomb, is proudly supported by the Ziering Family Foundation. Additional synagogue grants provided by the Los Angeles Jewish Teen Initiative powered by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation, with seed funding provided by the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles.
