A Burst of Inspiration Join us at Honeycomb's Facilitator Training this October!

Don't miss out on this comprehensive training! Attendees will walk away with curriculum, tools, and skills which will enable them to enhance existing Jewish youth philanthropy programs, start one in their own community or seamlessly use philanthropy in their general teen programming.

This unique experience is designed for youth educators, lay leaders, and Jewish organizational professionals who are interested in building the next generation of changemakers - all are welcome!

Dates: October 29-30, 2024

Location: New York City (Midtown)

Cost: $450 (includes all programming, activities, quality tools, resources, materials, dinner on Oct 29, breakfast and lunch on Oct 30, and plentiful snacks for both days.)

FAQs

  • Who is the training designed for?

    The training is a specially-designed with in-depth workshops for leaders of Jewish youth philanthropy programs, as well as for Jewish educators, professionals and lay leaders from the wider field of Jewish youth programming and engagement.

  • I don't have a youth philanthropy program. Can I still attend?

    Absolutely! Whether you are interested in starting a new program, expanding your existing program or learning about best practices in facilitation, philanthropy and Jewish youth engagement —all are welcome!

  • Do I need to come for both days of the training?

    Yes - you must attend both days of the facilitator training. The training is an immersive, cohort-learning experience and each workshop follows on material directly from the previous session, thus the convening needs to be attended in its entirety. Please contact Honeycomb's Program and Education Director, Sarah Ruderman with any specific concerns.

  • What does the cost of the training include?

    The Honeycomb Facilitator Training is $450 per participant. This includes all programming, activities, quality tools, resources, materials, dinner (on Oct 29), breakfast and lunch (Oct 30), and plentiful snacks for both days. If 2 or more people from one organization attend, you will receive a 10% discount. The price does NOT include your travel or accommodation (however we will have a room block at a nearby hotel available at a discounted rate).   • What if I need financial assistance to attend the training?

    We want to make sure that everyone who wants to attend our training is able to do so! Please contact Honeycomb's Executive Director, Danielle Segal with any specific concerns.

  • Is there a dress code for this event?

    Nope! Please feel free to wear anything that you feel comfortable in. Pro tip: we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes if you would like to explore all that New York City has to offer!

  • Can my organization become a sponsor of the training?

    Yes! We have different levels of sponsorship available. Please contact Honeycomb’s Executive Director, Danielle Segal and we would be happy to discuss.
