Designed for youth educators, Jewish organizational professionals, and lay leaders, the Honeycomb Facilitator Training gives you the skills and resources to strengthen your youth philanthropy program or help you launch a new one!


This unique two-day professional development opportunity focuses on Jewish experiential education, youth empowerment, and community engagement.


Participants will experience a skills-based, interactive training on all things youth philanthropy, receive curriculum and related resources, and have opportunities to network and learn from experts in the field.

Dates: October 14-15, 2025

Location: New York City

Cost: Early Bird Registration price: $495 (regular price is $550). This includes all programming, activities, quality tools, resources, materials, lunch on Oct 14, breakfast and lunch on Oct 15, and plentiful snacks for both days.


The true cost of the Facilitator Training is $1,500 per participant. Thanks to our generous supporters, Honeycomb is able to provide tickets at the subsidized rates listed above.

  • Who is the training designed for?

    The training is a specially-designed with in-depth workshops for leaders of Jewish youth philanthropy programs, as well as for Jewish educators, professionals and lay leaders from the wider field of Jewish youth programming and engagement.

  • I don't have a youth philanthropy program. Can I still attend?

    Absolutely! Whether you are interested in starting a new program, expanding your existing program or learning about best practices in facilitation, philanthropy and Jewish youth engagement —all are welcome!

  • Do I need to come for both days of the training?

    Yes - you must attend both days of the facilitator training. The training is an immersive, cohort-learning experience and each workshop follows on material directly from the previous session, thus the convening needs to be attended in its entirety. Please contact Honeycomb's Program and Education Director, Laura Hemlock-Schaeffer with any specific concerns.

  • What does the cost of the training include?

    The cost of the Honeycomb Facilitator Training is $550. This includes all programming, activities, quality tools, resources, materials, lunch (on Oct 14), breakfast and lunch (Oct 15), and plentiful snacks for both days. The price does NOT include your travel or accommodation (however we will have a room block at a nearby hotel available at a discounted rate).

  • Is there a hotel room block available?

  • Is there a dress code for this event?

    Nope! Please feel free to wear anything that you feel comfortable in. Pro tip: we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes if you would like to explore all that New York City has to offer!

  • Can my organization become a sponsor of the training?
