Spreading LIGHT

Spreading LIGHT (Leadership In Grantmaking for Hope and Tolerance) is a new initiative by Honeycomb that helps create Jewish youth philanthropy programs that focus on grantmaking to nonprofits who are working to combat antisemitism. Through funding this area directly, teen participants learn about issues relating to combatting antisemitism, explore their own Jewish identity, and make granting decisions that can effect real change. The selected youth-serving organizations for this pilot cohort will receive curriculum, in-person training, resources, and a microgrant from Honeycomb to launch this exciting program.

The Honeycomb Spreading LIGHT Initiative is generously supported by the Morris J. & Betty Kaplun Foundation
